Introduce a fellow educator to travel and watch your rewards soar!

You know the impact that your travel programs have had and continue to have on your students. Now, just imagine, you can make this same impact on even more students when you introduce educational student travel to other teachers you know. More students will have the opportunity for travel to change their lives and you’ll receive these fantastic rewards:

  • 15 Rewards Points for each valid referral you provide throughout the year
  • 50 Rewards Points for each of your referrals who starts promoting a travel program in their school
  • And additional 500 Rewards Points for each of your referrals that travel with a minimum of 5 participants

How to make a referral

Introduce a fellow educator to travel and watch your rewards soar!

  1. Make a list of other teachers you know that you feel would make a great candidate to lead a travel program at their school.
  2. Visit worldstrides.com/refer. Submit as much information on your referral as you can.
  3. Talk to your referrals and tell them about all your amazing travel experiences. Let them know that we’ll be reaching out to them. We’ll do the rest—and we’ll provide you updates along the way to let you know the status of your referrals so you can start counting your Rewards.

What happens with your referral
When you pass along the name of another teacher to lead a travel program, we’ll assign them to one of our Travel Specialists who will reach out to those referrals by phone. They’ll make the introduction that you provided WorldStrides with their information and then help that teacher get a travel program started in their school. If your referral decides to start promoting a trip in their school, they’ll be eligible for a $1,500 WorldStrides Scholarship to help make that first trip possible for even more students.
What makes a great referral

& how to maximize your referral rewards

With a little thought and effort, you can ensure that your referrals give you the best chance at earning Rewards Points. Here are a few tips from our Referral Pros:

Branch out

Think outside your school. Since you already have a travel program going at your school, you’ll want to think of another educator at a neighboring school in your community. Also, don’t limit yourself to teachers in just one field. History and science teachers are great, but we have lots of Program Leaders from all disciplines.

Think Like You

The best teachers to lead travel programs are just like you – passionate, energetic, and well-liked by their students and peers. Teachers who travel on their own or with their friends and family make great candidates to lead travel programs for their students, too.

Spread the Word

Tell your referrals how much fun you’ve had on your trip. Let them know how much you love traveling with WorldStrides, how fun and inspiring the trips are for the students, and how easy it really is. Most important, let them know we’ll be reaching out and for them to expect our call.

Stay Connected

We’ll do our best to keep you informed of the status of each of your referrals. If one of your referrals starts a travel program, you’ll be the first to know to congratulate them. The more you stay connected to the status of your referral, the greater your Rewards Points will grow.
